A community program partnering with Texas A&M College of Medicine, St. Joseph Regional Health Center, The Med (College Station Medical Center), the Brazos-Robertson Counties Medical Society, the Brazos Valley Chapter of the TAFP, the Brazos County Health Department, and College Station Scott & White Clinic.
Our Mission:
To train family physicians in the skills necessary to use all of the magnificence of new science and technology blended expertly with caring, compassion, and insight. Our program is designed to:
Facilitate a breadth of learning that will allow our residents to meet the needs of diverse communities – rural to urban, inner city to suburban.
Facilitate learning in the full range from prevention and wellness to acute and chronic illness management
Teach residents the breadth & depth of the healthcare team and how to be effective team leaders, consultants, and referral physicians.
Ground residents in the skills of self learning that will allow them to remain up to date in a rapidly changing profession. |
